``I thought we played really well, especially in the second half. In the first half we felt pretty good, going into the locker room up eight points when we didn't shoot the ball as well as we are capable of. Obviously Joey (Range) and Rod (Thompson) did some good things and I thought Steve Glasgow played especially well, hitting some big shots and really worked hard on (Ty) Moss defensively.''
``Moss kind of hurt us with his penetration early but I thought we did a much better job on him in the second half. I think that kind of allowed us to stretch our lead.''
``What's happening is Joey's becoming a great assistant coach. He came out and suggested a few things which worked out on the floor. We have been doing that with him and Rod all season, resting them. When you talk about our depth, Joey and Rod get a ton of credit and they deserve it. They are great, great ball players. But we have other kids who are good players, too, and we're capable of stretching leads no matter who we put in the game.''
``Rod got open for some big shots and knocked down some threes. We did some things in the stretches while Joey was on the bench. We wanted to keep the ball out Moss' hands and pressure him as much as we could when he did get it.''

``I used to like Iowa. I can't stand them now. (Moss formerly served as an assistant coach at Iowa). They (Galesburg) have some great players. I thought in my infinite wisdom if we shut them down we could win. Steve Glasgow (17 points) showed what he thought about that.''
``Bottom line is we shot 35-percent and you can't do that against a good club. You wait for the run against a good club and we just couldn't put it together tonight.''
``I wasn't surprised the way they played even when (Joey) Range was on the bench with foul problems. We watched tapes on them and it seems like when ever that happens the other kids pick it up. I was told that Roderick (Thompson) could shot the three but we didn't know he could do it so well (Thompson hit 3 of 4 threes).''
``They have two great players and fill in with a whole bunch of good role players. They're a great club and I wish them luck and I hope they go all the way.''
