Manager's Note

The Forbes Sectional was held today with cold blustery 20 MPH winds that followed heavy rains that cover much of Illinois the past couple of days. The fishing conditions were very tough, but 12 out of the 20 boats brought fish to the scales. 16 total fish were weighed from the dedicated fishing teams. Colin Niebrugge from Teutopolis hauled in a 7.86 lb. lunker on his second cast of the day. This fish bested the previous Forbes Sectional record fish of 7.70 lb fish caught from Brett Deters in the inaugural event in 2009. Thanks to Rob Street, Gary Payne, Glen Weggener, Scott Steward and the Forbes Lake Staff for their efforts in making the event happen without problems.
